Being a volunteer is a great way to engage people in building bridge for better world. Everyone can contribute their time, skills and knowledge through volunteer work. Volunteering with Millennium Child Support Group in Ghana is a unique experience that you won’t regret. Ghana as a middle income country has a lot of vulnerable children and marginalized women in the rural communities who need support.

How do I choose a volunteer?
Consider why you want to volunteer. A big reason, perhaps the main reason, we choose to volunteer is because we want to give back.

Check for a Genuine Organisation
Check if the organisation have demands specific roles, qualifications, work experience or relevant skills before applying
Know what the organisation do and see if it matches with your interest.
Know the visa requirement and how to apply for a visa
Be sure you have a travel insurance
Check for the prices / fees of the organisation and know what the fees cover.
Consider your health first
Be sure the organisations have measures to ensure the safety of volunteers.
Save some money for emergency situations.
Check the weather condition and know the kind of clothing’s to pack

Mobile phone SIM card with phone number on arrival in Ghana
Certificate of Recognition for dedicated volunteers and an opportunity to serve as MCSG Ambassador in your city, college or community. You will need to complete a volunteer report before a certificate is issued

All Nationalities are welcome. You don’t need any special skills or experience to join one of our projects. Just a passion to help and a desire to contribute in any way you can contribute to the communities that you visit. But having a qualification is an advantage!

All those who wish to volunteer at the Childcare Program need to furnish us with Police Criminal Check Report. He or she must NOT have any criminal records.
